We are looking for a candidate that will be able to perform various administration and clerical services, including but not limited to preparing and editing documents, scheduling meetings for Directors, minute taking and producing reports, ordering supplies, answering phone calls, receiving visitors, managing filing systems, and performing basic accounting tasks. Attend to other office management systems and procedures, such as drafting and proofread documents, maintain filing systems, manage agendas, support the administration in administration and finance office in general as well as complete required forms and attend to some accounting clerical tasks with any other ad hoc related functions.  The vacancy is thus of;

ADMINISTRATION OFFICER – WALVIS BAY

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting senior executive managers with the preparation of board and subsequent meeting documents
  • Perform personal assistant duties as and when required for senior executive managers.
  • Attending to filing of group relevant records as well as taking minutes where required
  • Perform any other duties which may be assigned.
  • Taking and distribution of minutes board meetings, reports and other documents.
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail and general emails.
  • Ordering of equipment, materials and office supplies.
  • Attending tender meetings and completing tender document when is require.
  • Maintain records and processing of invoices, receipts and other payment related matters following as required and instructed.
  • Administer the petty cash system and ensure appropriate record keeping

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Pastel knowledge and experience will be an added advantage
  • Computer literate (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and typing skills are an added advantage;
  • Excellent time management skills for self and others diaries and pays attention to details;
  • Proficient in English i.e. writing, reading and speaking to understand, follow verbal and written instruction

MARKETING OFFICER – WALVIS BAY

We are looking for a candidate that will be able to perform various organizations’ day-to-day marketing duties. Works to develop areas such as sales management, product development, distribution channel management, marketing communications, including advertising and promotions, pricing, market research, and customer service. Ensure the organization’s message is distributed across channels and to targeted audiences in order to meet sales objectives. The vacancy is thus of;

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department.
  • Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives.
  • Co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  • Overseeing the company’s marketing budget.
  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
  • Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
  • Preparing online and print marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.
  • Creating a wide range of different marketing materials.
  • Working closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
  • Analysing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing. Develop segmentation, competitive analysis/market intelligence, prospecting, lead generation, product and market development, pricing, promotions, communications and budgets, sales force effectiveness, strategic planning, services units and revenue retention and growth.
  • Oversee the development of new products and create product roadmap.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Marketing Diploma or Bachelor degree in Marketing; with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Computer literate (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Proficient in English i.e. writing, reading and speaking to understand, follow verbal and written instruction

EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN – WALVIS BAY

We are looking for a candidate that will be able to operate heavy duty equipment, with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of mining equipment and to join our team and continue to build strong customer relationships through regular on site visits and high standards for top service. The vacancy is thus of;

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure workplace safety, environmentally sound and healthy adherence and at all times.
  • Troubleshoot and repair of heavy duty and medium duty mining equipment: ZOOMLION, LIBHERR, TADANO, KONE CRANE, CAT, and many others. Mining Equipment include: Cranes, Dozers, Loaders, Excavators Graders, Forklifts, Skid Steers, boom lifts, Telehandler, etc.
  • Inspection and load test on lifting equipment
  • Maintain quality workmanship to repair heavy equipment within the established time standards out in the field
  • Prepare accurate service and repair reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain excellent communication and trusted customer relationships through regular on site visit

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • A valid trade diploma;  Equipment Technician Licence with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in repair and service of heavy equipment both in the workshop and in the field
  • Safety conscious with a diverse knowledge of heavy  equipment products and systems
  • A basic knowledge of cutting, welding and fabrication
  • Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions and to interpret technical manuals and specifications.
  • A valid Driver’s Licence

  • Analytic with knowledge of mechanics in electrical and hydraulic systems Customer centric with excellent relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to complete repairs/service within established time guidelines in a busy, fast paced environment where priorities are constantly changing
  • Self-directed team player with strong initiative, business acumen and integrity
  • Focused, energetic and organized with superior attention to detail and a sense of urgency
  • Willing to work flexible shifts to meet the demands of the business, including afternoon shifts
  • Knowledge of competitors’ equipment would be an asset
